Wabi-Sabi Footed Wooden Bowl – Burnt Brown or Charcoal Black, 23 cm

A low, wide wooden bowl raised on a stepped, ringed foot, with the quiet, imperfect character that wabi-sabi and Japandi rooms are built on. The wood grain shows right through the burned finish, so every bowl carries its own pattern of rings and streaks. Set it on a dining table, kitchen island, sideboard or coffee table as a simple centerpiece, or let it hold keys, a few whole pieces of fruit or nothing at all.

• The burned finish is sealed with paint, so it does not leave black marks on hands or clothes (per supplier)
