Abstract Sculpted Ceramic Vase – Black or White, 37 cm

A vase that reads as a piece of modern sculpture: a tall, abstract ceramic form with soft, rippling folds — somewhere between wind-worn stone and draped fabric — and an oval opening right through its center. Deep black makes a bold silhouette against pale walls; white is quieter and gallery-like. Stand it on a console, mantel, sideboard or bookshelf — striking on its own, or with a single dried or faux stem in the small opening at the top.

• About 37 cm tall × 17 cm wide (14.6 × 6.7 in), per the supplier's drawing; the base is about 11 cm (4.3 in) across and the opening at the top about 3 cm (1.2 in) long. The supplier does not give the depth
